A new band to the Beach Music community but they've been entertaining for years. Straight from the Commonwealth of Virginia, they can be heard on stations throughout the region. JB and the Get Down Browns recently released their single "Lake Booty Shake" and many of your favorite stations and DJ's already have a copy. It's a great song and we appreciate the guys getting a copy to us and you'll want to be sure to call and request it. The song is a fun groove talking about Summer fun shaggin' at the lake and doing that "Lake Booty Shake".

The six piece band comes to us from Southside, Virginia and the members include:

Jeff Bailey - Vocals and Guitar
David Snead - Vocals, Guitar, Synth Guitar
Colby Bailey - Trumpet and Percussion
Vernon Carter - Vocals and Drums
Bill Brown - Vocals and Bass
Brian Parks - Vocals, Harp, Saxophone and Guitar

Being from the same area ourselves, we've had the opportunity several times to hear the band and they put on a great show. From their stage setup, lighting show to the music, they know how to entertain. Their lineup also includes their sound engineer Chad Plemons and their lighting tech Clint Bailey.

You can catch them on Sunday, September 1, 2019 with the Embers featuring Craig Woolard at the Lake Life Live Concert Series in Clarksville, Virginia. Gates open at 3:00 PM and JB and the Get Down Browns will take the stage at 4:00 and the Embers at 7:00. Only $5.00 admission for an afternoon packed full of entertainment.
