Cat5 will debut their new song "Slow Steady Groove" today around 1:00PM on 94.9FM "The Surf". You can stream it LIVE on your PC or mobile device by visiting their website.
In a recent post, the Cat5 Band announced that they're currently in the studio at Sand City Productions located in N. Myrtle Beach, SC working on new material described as a "Slow Steady Groove". Once more information and/or a release date has been announced, we will be sure to update you right here on Flip Flop Live.

Celebrate 25 Years of the CBMA tomorrow, June 27, 2019 at 7:00PM at Pantana Bob's in Wilmington, NC. The organizers invite you to: " celebrate the 25th year of the CBMAs in Wilmington with many special guests. This is the perfect opportunity to come out and learn, join and even renew you membership. We all know how important the Carolina Beach Awards is to our industry so we look forward to seeing you for a night of good times and great music!"

Earlier today the Randy Clay Band announced on their Facebook page that a new CD is set to release on July 12, 2019 titled "What we are". The CD is said to consist of ten original tunes and it will be released on Sedaps Records.
The band's full discography can be viewed on their website among other band information and news. Once it's made available for purchase, we'll include a link and/or information where you can purchase your own copy. Randy does have music available his website store as well as his CDBaby Store.

Hip Pocket announced on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 that Jaron "J Breez" Bradley is now a member of the band. On their release they stated "A resident of Wilmington, NC, born into a family of musicians and performing since age 7, J Breez has played with such familiar groups as Midnight Allie, The Craig Woolard Band, The Kid Drew Band & most recently with Leroy Harper's All Stars. And The Band Played On".

The 2nd annual Hardwood Shagger Competition is coming on July 4th - 6th 2019 at the Spanish Galleon in N. Myrtle Beach, SC. The following details were found on their website and be sure to verify this information either by visiting their website or by calling/emailing the individuals listed below.
